‘Littlefort’ is a small friendly stud of miniature ponies,   mostly broken-coloured, mainly piebald, with emphasis very much on ‘Quality’.

Littlefort stud was started in 2004. With a life long love of horses and having kept & enjoyed miniature Shetlands as companions for my riding horses for over 30 years, I decided to have a go at breeding these wonderful little equines.  I have carefully selected my foundation stock, paying particular attention to the pedigree’s. My ponies are all quality miniatures based on the exceptional Kerswell, Merrylees, South Sands & Strathlene bloodlines. They are all handled daily making them extremely friendly.

I intend to remain small in numbers and aim to breed a few quality broken-coloured foals each year, with correct conformation, good movement and friendly temperaments being of paramount importance. Stock will be occasionally for sale.
